Hello again and greetings from Tallinn, Estonia. I did my annual two day trip over there with my friends. We had so much fun, as usual. We did some sightseeing and shopping with lots and lots of laughing, good food, drinks and some dancing… This trip really was one of the highlights of my summer and I’m so happy after spending a few days with these wonderful ladies.
But about Tallinn itself – it’s really close to Finland. Two hours by ferry from Helsinki and you’re there. Tallinn has a small old town with nice shops, beautiful houses, nice cafe’s and restaurants. Finnish people love to visit Tallinn. Estonia is still relatively cheap (compered to Finland at least) and it’s close by so it’s a good place for a small getaway.
We arrived Tallinn on Wednesday morning. The weather was sunny and pretty warm at first…later we were surprised by heavy rain. Our hotel was close to the harbour and old town, perfect location. After check in into the hotel, we had a nice lunch at Deja Vu restaurant.
After the lunch we took a stroll on the streets of old town.
On Friday we were a “little bit” tired after long night so we took it easy. We did some shopping and had a lunch at Leib. On our way to the lunch, we enjoyed more about beautiful Tallinn.
After lunch we went back to the hotel and enjoyed the sun.
Going back home…
Thank you ladies – You’re the best! See you next year…
